From the slightly cooler part of our north-facing block, this Chardonnay displays nuanced citrus aromas, joining harmoniously with stone fruits such as white peach and nectarine. The wine possesses a creamy, cashew toasty quality as a result of extended time spent on lees.
TASTING NOTES
After spending 10 months in French oak (30% new), this wine is brilliant light golden straw in colour, hints of citrus and white peach surrounded with hints of toasty cashew and a wonderful complex creamy multi layered finish from extended time spent on lees. Excellent cellaring potential.
