When we discovered Mount View, our little piece of the Hunter Valley, it was home. We uncovered soils and a micro-climate here that were unique for the region. This would help us create wine styles and flavours that were distinctively ours and would be hard to beat. Since then, it’s always been about embracing every aspect of growing, making and enjoying quality wine. The wines we create are a combination of hard work, rich soil and flavour combinations that are worth savouring.
COLOUR
Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinctive glimmer of green to the edges and a watery hue.
NOSE
Elevated white peach and nectarine scents are intermeshed with subtle dried honey notes, cashew, nougat and spice.
PALATE
Rich and creamy in texture, the palate has intense flavours of peach and nectarine which meld into a complex back drop of dried honey, cashew, crème brulee and spicy nougat. Superb balance and depth finishing with a long seductive yet refined aftertaste.
FOOD PAIRING
Semi-soft, triple-cream cheeses or a nutty, fruity fontina. Braised chicken with a buttery savoury cream sauce, seafood or vegetarian butter or nutty flavours.
